Devon Storay - Devon is from Beaumont, Texas. She meet her husband, Ticon, in Arkansas, where both Josh and Stephanie are originally from. Devon loves animals. She is the Animal Care Chief here on Finca Morpho and with that, she leads the effort to support domestic dogs and cats in our foster kennels. The farm has fostered over 30 dogs in less than a year, many of those being puppies. She also loves to train her horses, Attitcus and Cookie. Devon has studied natural horsemanship and loves to share what she knows. When she isn't with her horses, she is with the dogs. Devon is also a mother and is the primary care giver of her daughter, Ariel. Devon is a great supporter and a wonderful asset to Finca Morpho.
Ticon Storay - Ticon is from Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is where most of the member of Finca Morpho met. Ironically enough, Devon meet Stephanie separately from Ticon and Josh, however both Josh and Ticon meet Stephanie through rock climbing. It wasn't until later that we all realized it was destiny. Ticon loves to meet people and make new friendships. He is always looking to form new connections and make synchronicity a reality. Ticon also loves physically demanding sports like rock climbing, surfing, skateboarding, mountain biking, and much more. When he isn't working to create, he is playing to live. In high school, he took every computer class offered, and his buddy Josh joined him in every one. This gave them a good basis to their education. After high school, Ticon worked in the security and home automation field until he decided to venture to college. In college he studied Finance and Economics. With a balanced and detailed background, Ticon loves to forge the way in the permaculture future.
Ariel Storay - Ariel is the daughter of Devon and Ticon. She is a wonderful ball of light, love, and energy. She is extremely social and loves everything and everyone. If you come to the farm, you have made a friend in Ariel. She is independent, brave, resistant and resourceful. She wants to do everything you can do and you will find her in the waves, in the trees, and in your hair.
Colton Lindeman - Colton is originally from Davis, Ca, but has spent lot of time traveling abroad, both as a child and adult. Because of Colton’s parents, Jon and Danielle, farming, gardening and traveling has been a part of his life since he was born and came naturally as he grew. Between spending summers with his father working in the apple and cherry orchards, and learning more about life than any school could teach, to watching his mother create beautiful gardens from a pile of dirt, Colton naturally grew a green thumb. Through his wife Stephanie, Colton met Devon, Ticon, Ariel, and Josh. Through those new friendships, Colton was given the opportunity to really dive into the world of farming through permaculture, with the goal of a sustainable community at Finca Morpho. The idea of 'Permaculture and not Agriculture' sparked an interest in Colton, and in 2014, Colton completed his PDC (Permaculture Design Course) and gained more than just an idea. A world-traveled, adventure-seeking farmer with the intention to create a sustainable way of living. He now lives in Arkansas raising his wonderful son Cooper around loving and supporting family.
Stephanie Burrell - Stephanie is originally from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She has always been one to confront her fears, first with sky diving and then with rock climbing. Stephanie lets nothing hold her back. She has spent the last 7 years of her life working in the beautiful and magic-filled Yosemite Valley as a hotel manger, and is an awesome hostess. Hard-working and detail-oriented, Stephanie loves to show people a good time, and she is also an amazing chef. She is responsible for planning the meals on the farm and everyone adores her for it. Stephanie met Devon in high school in Siloam Springs, while she meet Josh and Ticon rock climbing in the nearby forest. Stephanie met Colton at Yosemite Valley when she moved from Arkansas to follow her dreams.
Joshua Reed - I'm originally from Camden, Arkansas, USA. Was raised working on my grandparents home garden, where they grew most of their diet and canned most of it to save for emergencies. I love cooking, which was what I set out to do after high school (where Ticon and I met), but I ended up in the IT field and cell phone tower work. Ticon and I met Devon through a friend at the same time, and we all had a connection from that point on. Later, Ticon and I would meet Stephanie and Colton through rock climbing. I am very adventurous, which is how I got into the cell phone tower industry and started to climb the corporate ladder. I worked on that for almost 7 years and then got the life call to travel more, especially to Costa Rica and help my best friend do something with his land. Being from the IT field and from the YouTube / Google generation, I dove right into the internet to get more information on what to do and how others were doing it. I started with an aquaponics project and this led me to the 'rabbit hole' called Permaculture. I did a few online classes, a couple of workshops, and lots of research into the subject 1 1/2 years before I got my PDC. I have been doing this work for the past 2 years and have immersed myself in the Permaculture Rabbit Whole, which has led me to my strong passion to rid the world of non-biodegradable waste, finding a cheap non-combustion form of renewable energy, and spreading information openly and freely.
